Product Manger, Pleated Products
TDC Filter seeks a Product Manager, Pleated Products – The Americas in Bolingbrook, IL (and other US locations as needed). The Product Manager will direct and oversee assigned product and market management functions.
Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements; defining the product vision; and working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations and Accounting to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Essential Job Functions
(Inside)
• Define the product strategy, roadmap and mix
• Provide technical liaison with Engineering, Sales and the customer
• Provide project management/oversight for new product developments
• Develop and effectively communicate expert knowledge of the competition
• Establish pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals
• Deliver a monthly revenue forecast to Management
• Propose an overall budget to ensure success
• With Marketing, develop and present training materials to Sales
• Other duties as required
(Outside)
• With Marketing, develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
• Provide technical assistance to customers for Sales
• With Marketing, develop sales tools, training materials and collateral
• With Marketing, promote the product externally to press and customers
• Provide trade show support as needed
• Other duties as required
Requirements
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, plus 2 years of experience
• Demonstrated success defining and launching industrial products
• Technical background, with experience in filtration required
• Knowledge of dust collection systems/products
• Knowledge of, and experience working in, the gas turbine industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Travel to customer sites and work locations as needed
