September 16-20, CTOTF-Combustion Turbine Operations Technical Forum, Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort & Spa, San Diego. Chairman Bob Kirn of TVA and the Leadership Team have developed an agenda that features a full day dedicated to GE F-class turbines and another day on Siemens D-, F-, and G-class engines. Running in parallel with these major activities are half-day sessions on Solar engines (plus a shop tour), GE aeros, GE legacy frames, Mitsubishi turbines, Siemens V machines, and the popular Regulatory and Compliance Roundtable chaired by Scott Takinen of APS. The final day’s program includes seven hours of presentations and discussion on generators, HV electrical equipment, and control systems.

March 26-28, 2013, Fossil FAC International Conference, Westin Arlington Gateway (Washington, DC area). This meeting, which features both invited and contributed technical papers as well as robust open discussion, is considered by experts to be the world’s leading forum on flow-accelerated corrosion in fossil-fired plants, heat-recovery steam generators, and air-cooled condensers. Abstracts must be submitted to Co-Chair Dr Barry Dooley (bdooley@structint.com) by September 30, 2012 for consideration. Authors will be notified of acceptance by October 31.
