Bob Anderson launches HRSG Forum for combined-cycle, cogen-plant owner/operators

AndersonOn the long plane ride home from the Czech Republic after attending the European HRSG Forum, Bob Anderson drafted his plan for the inaugural meeting of the “HRSG Forum with Bob Anderson” to be held Feb 28 – Mar 2, 2017 on the EPRI Campus in Charlotte, NC. The HRSG expert had decided to break away from the US topical meeting he was affiliated with previously to diversify and improve the content offering, thereby delivering greater value to attendees.

Presentations and discussions will cover the gamut of HRSG offerings for cogeneration and combined-cycle plants equipped with gas turbines ranging in size from the popular aero models up through the latest H and J machines. Topics selected for coverage by Anderson and a steering committee of industry experts will help owner/operators and maintenance professionals be more successful, and their plants more profitable.

By attending, Anderson assures, you’ll benefit greatly from the expert interaction in Q&A sessions following presentations and in the discussion sessions he so deftly leads. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity mingle and chat one-on-one and in small groups at receptions and meals. Other benefits: continuing education credit, complete meeting minutes, copies of presentations, and names and contact information of fellow attendees.

EPRI is a co-sponsor of the upcoming meeting. Stay tuned to to access program and other details as they become available.

In related news, “HRSG Forum with Bob Anderson” has named CCJ the organization’s official publication because of its exclusive focus on the information needs of headquarters and deck-plates personnel responsible for the design, specification, operation, and maintenance of the cogeneration and combined-cycle plants served by the newly formed group.

Best Practices. Also, the two user advocates, HRSG Forum and CCJ, announce the 2017 HRSG Best Practices Awards program for plant owners and operators.
