Presentation Synopsis
Hydrogen is required for operation of a hydrogen-cooled generator. Without hydrogen of the proper purity and pressure, the generator cannot be operated. Hydrogen supply for electric generator cooling can be supplied by delivered hydrogen if that is available, or by using hydrogen generation. In many parts of the world, delivered hydrogen is not reliably available and may not be cost-effective.
