Highlights of the eight user-group conferences
Eight user groups operating under the Power Users umbrella—Combined Cycle, Generator, Steam Turbine, Power Plant Controls, 7EA, Frame 6B, Frame 5, and newly-formed Low Carbon Peer Group—are conducting their 2022 conferences concurrently at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, August 28-September 1. All groups come together for meals, plus the vendor fair on Monday, August 28, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The technical programs for the annual meetings were developed by the all-volunteer steering committees of the respective organizations. Most of those participants are engineers with decades of relevant industry experience and are intimately familiar with today’s O&M challenges.
New in 2022: All conferences begin with a Monday morning training session—ideal for newcomers up to speed and for refreshing the memories of experienced personnel.
